Lupita Nyong looks chic in new pictures as she grabs lunch with friends.

The Oscar winner and A-list actress was spotted in the company of her friends as she stepped out to grab lunch in New York City.

Lupita who came to lime light in the blockbuster movie 12 years a slave rocked a chic hat, grey jeans,cute pink flat sandals.

Completing the look: Lupita paired the hat with a pair of craggily-framed sunglasses, a white knit tunic and a backpack with African textile designs
